News Update on Investors in People Award and Business Start Up Success
Future awards ISO 9001:2000 and SFEDI
We are pleased to announce that we have achieved the Investors in People Award for the fifth consecutive time meaning we have held this prestigious award for the past 12 years. Although we are a small company we value all our team and associates who work as part of and within our organisation and thank them for their continued hard work and commitment.
Moving forward in July 2008 we will be re-visiting our ISO 9001:2000 with the British Standards Institute.
BSI Management Systems recognition ensures we operate a Quality Management System which complies with the requirements of ISO 9001:2000. More information on this next inspection will follow in the near future.
We will also be undertaking the renewal of SFEDI (Small Firms Enterprise Development Initiative) this is our licence to practice in our profession. We hope to achieve this by the end of July 2008.
As a provider of a Business Start-Up Advice Services we have assisted 166 business to start up
since August 2007. This support has been possible through funding provided by Business Support Solutions in Manchester and in partnership with the ‘Tameside Business Family – TMBC’ who have assisted 88 of the 166 businesses with a Business Start up Grant.
Assistance is still available by way of advice, guidance, and consultation and training however, this is subject to eligibility and availability.
